Welcome to AArchiveR, a fashion portfolio by Rachel Appiah exploring fashion buying, copywriting, brand communication, sustainability and consumer insight. This platform presents selected projects that combine research, storytelling and strategic thinking across contemporary fashion and retail.

The Edit

The Edit brings together selected projects across fashion buying, copywriting, brand communication, sustainability and consumer insight. Each project explores how fashion can be shaped through research, storytelling and strategic thinking.

My work moves between the physical and digital: from circular donation systems and retail experiences to data-led brand insight and sustainability research. Together, these projects reflect my interest in how products, language, consumers and systems connect within contemporary fashion.

AArchiveR is a fashion archive built around language, community and permanence.

My work sits between fashion buying, copywriting, brand communication, sustainability and consumer insight. With a background in English Literature, I approach fashion through storytelling, looking at how garments are chosen, worn, remembered and passed on.

I am drawn to roles in fashion buying, copywriting, editorial content, brand communications, marketing and sustainability communication. These roles reflect how I think: research-led, commercially aware and connected to the emotional life of clothing.

At the centre of my practice is community. I care about fashion that speaks to real people, real behaviour and real lives. I am interested in everlasting pieces: garments and ideas that hold value through story, quality, memory and purpose.

My mission is to create fashion communication and strategy that connects product with story, consumer with community, and style with substance.

AArchiveR is a record of fashion written, worn, remembered and made to last.
