Thrift and Permanence

Thrift and Permanence

Conservative Values as a Vector for Sustainable Disruption is a research-led project exploring circular fashion, thrift, permanence, consumer behaviour and sustainable systems. The project investigates why circular fashion often fails to engage consumers, focusing on barriers such as behavioural friction, distrust, greenwashing and post-donation invisibility. Acting as the research foundation for TRAID LOOP, it examines how QR technology, traceability and Digital Product Passports can make garment donation more transparent, low-effort and rewarding.

AArchiveR is a fashion archive built around language, community and permanence.

My work sits between fashion buying, copywriting, brand communication, sustainability and consumer insight. With a background in English Literature, I approach fashion through storytelling, looking at how garments are chosen, worn, remembered and passed on.

I am drawn to roles in fashion buying, copywriting, editorial content, brand communications, marketing and sustainability communication. These roles reflect how I think: research-led, commercially aware and connected to the emotional life of clothing.

At the centre of my practice is community. I care about fashion that speaks to real people, real behaviour and real lives. I am interested in everlasting pieces: garments and ideas that hold value through story, quality, memory and purpose.

My mission is to create fashion communication and strategy that connects product with story, consumer with community, and style with substance.

AArchiveR is a record of fashion written, worn, remembered and made to last.
